"Serial number 12473. Made in 1898. 9 mm caliber with a 5 ½" barrel. This is an unusual gun as it is an early 9mm caliber made for export as it is British proofed. The bottom of the barrel is marked “9 MM 752" . The 752 would indicate the chamber length, but that does not correspond with any 9mms as normal 9 x19 is .754 inches. We have found a reference to another gun that was also British proofed with this marking, yet it was in its proper caliber. It is in mint condition as professionally restored. This gun comes with a shoulder stock that has been numbered to match this gun. This is a deep milled panel with large ring hammer variation.
