Description:
Belgian Browning Safari grade in 243 Win. Built in 1963, this rifle has the hard to find Mauser action and pencil barrel. The rifle has the early style long claw extractor.The 22" barrel has a mint bore. The rifle is in excellent original condition retaining 98% of the original blue and 95% of the origianl wood finish. There is a light scuff mark on the left side of the stock (shown in photo). No other damage is visible. The Mauser short action calibers were only made for a short time bafore Browning moved the short action calibers to the more common Sako action. This is an excellent example of the early Safari grade. C&R eligible. Price includes shipping to your FFL.
