"Serial No. 5686889, circa 1944, .30 carbine, 18" round barrel marked with Winchester proof mark. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling noted, milled front sight is unmarked. Barrel band and two-rivet top wood is al unmarked. Flat bolt is stamped “W" and trigger group assembly is also marked “W", push button safety is marked “EW" and magazine release is stamped marked “M-W". Low wood stock is in very good condition with faint crossed cannons visible. Sling well is marked “W", action functions correctly. Carbine comes with oiler and sling. Great looking WWII Winchester carbine.
