Early Lyman Alaskan All-Weather 2.5X with Cross Wire Reticle
This scope dates c.1942-1947 with original 1947 sales slip!
Nearly 8 decades in the box with limited handling and may not have ever been used
Image is very clear with one occlusion at the outer edge of the view - you don't see it if you are sighting, but you see it if you are looking for it
Crosshairs are crisp
No apparent discoloration or cloudiness - such a beautiful view
No apparent issues on the lenses' exterior surfaces other that a little dusty around the edges
If you are restoring or furnishing museum quality guns then you need museum quality accessories!
This is a hard to find All-Weather Alaskan that would mount nicely in a Leupold Adjusto or Griffin and Howe mount (7/8" rings of course).
