Unless otherwise stated, our guns are not test fired as we have no facility for that. We inspect the firearm and it's action to see if everything appears functional but they are sold without warranty as we have no ammunition to test them with. Unless the item is listed as being sold AS-IS, there is a 3 Day Non-Shooting Inspection Period which starts when the item arrives at your dealer. No shooting, no disassembly. Visual inspection only to confirm correct item and that it matches description in major ways. Minor differences in subjective matters like percent of condition, etc, and personal opinions like ergonomics, fit to your hand or shoulder, etc, do not justify returns. Once you take the item home it is yours and no returns will be allowed. Items listed with AS-IS label are not returnable. We will not issue refunds for unknown mechanical problems. Description:
Here is a very neat scout style Winchester model 94 Pre 64 chambered for 30-30 Win. This rifle was made in 1956 and has a really neat quick detach scope mounted forward on the barrel where the rear sight would have been. The scope was made by Redfield and is a 2X scope model 294 that was specifically built for this purpose. The base has an integral rear sight which can be used when the scope is detachewd. The optics are clear and the rifle is very fast to acquire target with. Really neat rig that was way ahead of its time and fits the Jeff Cooper Scout rifle description quite well for a rifle that was made before the concept even existed. Great deer rifle for close in heavy cover shooting. FREE SHIPPING!
