Guns Listing ID: 459084

SER #2454H, 7.5x53.5 Swiss NOT 7.5x55 Swiss, 30 3/4” barrel with a very good bore with scattered spots of more moderate oxidation in the grooves but clear rifling throughout. The metal surfaces retain about 85-89% arsenal blue finish with light wear on high edges and contact points, scattered light oxidation, and some light handling marks the magazine has color loss. The walnut stock is in good condition as lightly cleaned , scattered light handling marks, and the steel buttplate is proud at the heel and toe with some oxidation. The arsenal inspection marks on the barrel and small parts remain clear, the magazine, bolt, and front sight are numbered to the rifle, and the receiver is marked with a “P” denoting the soldier kept his rifle upon retirement. The rifle retains the standard open sights and appears to function well mechanically. A solid example of these fine Swiss rifles.
