Description:
The John Browning designed Model 1911 pistol is an American classic. It was the standard issue U.S. Military pistol from 1911 to 1985 when it was replaced by the Beretta M9. This is 1911 A1 was manufactured by Colt during World War Two. The magazine is a WWII vintage "R" stamped Risdon magazine. The barrel is stamped HS for High Standard. This pistol has its original parkerized finish and is a very good example of the Colt M1911 A1 .45 ACP pistol. Included is a modified M3 shoulder holster that is stamped Boyt 43. Colt produced about 629,000 1911 A1 pistols during the war. This pistol was manufactured in 1943. .45 ACP
