Description:
The Ruger No 1 is a single shot rifle with an incredibly robust falling block action. First introduced in 1967 the Ruger No 1 is based on the design of the Farquharson-style hammerless falling-block action and has been manufactured for a wide range of cartridges. The .458 Winchester Magnum was created in 1956 by Winchester to compete with Weatherby Magnums meant for the largest African game animals. Since that time the 458 Win. Mag. has become the standard cartridge for African hunting. It is able to push a 500 grain bullet to 2,150 ft/s from a 24 in barrel. Manufactured in 1978. .458 Winchester Magnum
