Description:
This Winchester Model 42 has had an oval post, rib added by Simmons Gun Specialties Inc. Kansas City, Mo. The metal was refinished, which would have been done when the ventilated rib was added by Simmons. The Winchester proof stamps on the barrel and action were covered when the rib was added. It has a highly figured walnut stock. Although this Model 42 is not factory original it is still a very nice shotgun and one you would be proud to own. This Model 42 was manufactured 1961. .410 Bore
