"Serial No. 4292274, made in 1944, .30 carbine, 18"" round barrel. WWII U.S. Carbine by National Postal Meter, Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Front sight is ""SN"" stamped, barrel is marked ""I.B.M. CORP"", barrel band is type B and marked ""UN"". Receiver marked ""NATIONAL/POSTAL METER"" Type A rear sight is stamped with ""RN""on right side and ""S"" on the left side. Oval cut low wood stock is in very good plus condition with ""NPM/FJA-ORDNANCE crossed cannon"" cartouches present. Sling cutout is marked ""TN"". Action is smooth and functions correctly. Comes with CMP paperwork and box. Consignment
