Description:
This clean Ruger Old Army is Stainless Steel and in excellent condition. These guns are the best and strongest of all percussion revolvers ever made. One real advantage is that they have a projection on the front of the cylinder to prevent the black powder residue from entering the cylinder pin area. This allows you to shoot the gun all day without it seizing up due to residue build up on the cylinder pin. All other percussion revolvers I have shot I had to remove the cylinder after firing two or three cylinder loads and clean it before continuing to shoot. This is why many Calvary troopers carried an extra cylinder ot two. This gun has adjustable sights and a 7 1/2 inch barrel with a fine bore. in 1984. It is a shame these fine guns are no longer made.
