Winchester 1886 Takedown, Lightweight, 45-70, Beautifully Engraved, 1908. 22" barrel. Excellent bore - bright and shinny with no pits. Beautifully exact engraving on receiver, lever, barrel, and forend cap. Takedown joint is tight and solid. Wood to metal fit is as it should be - wood proud of metal. No sign of iron sights being moved or removed. 13 1/4" L.O.P. A couple minor handling marks in wood finish. Wood checkering is still sharp. Small chip in butt plate on left side. Engraving is of high quality, and after close examination, it doesn't look like the engraver signed the rifle. Weight is 7lb, 4.8oz.
