P.Webley and Son English Side Lever Hammer Coach Gun Shotgun 12 ga Bores Exc, Mech Exc, Wood VG plus with checkering and forend has a wedge. Has 18 ¾” Damascus Barrels with brass bead front sight and marked P.Webley & Son St James London. The lockplates are engraved with game scene and finely engraved hammers , frame and triggerguard. Both hammers are engraved but not the same style nearly identical. Serial#16506 Mfg’d early 1870’s.with wedged forearm. Metal overall has an aged grey patina finish with strong Damascus pattern on the barrels and no pitting.
