My AS NEW IN BOX STOEGER LUGER 22LR PISTOL was purchased on line, 2/1/23. The sales receipt for that trandaction stipulating "NEW IN BOX" will be included as a BONEFIDE' DOCUMENT. The extras, a second new 11 round magazine, a new RE-SUPPLY Stoeger Luger 22lr speed loader and a new hard padded case with Stoeger sticker are included in the $990.00 price.
If I get an offer I can't refuse before 1/2/25, it's yours. Don't wait.....This STOEGER LUGER 22LR PISTOL is destined to go to a collector or the first one who wants to fire it.
As mentioned in early Jan. "If it hasn't sold by my GI ad expiration date, 2/1/25, or 600 Views "I'm keeping it"." The 600 Views are long gone. The Lookie Loo Views now total over 750. If there's no sale I'm planning some projects including a professional refinish and a 5.5" barrel. I called the new Stoeger Company and asked what finish was used on aluminium frames. As the old Stoeger Company went bankrupt, most of it's records were lost. Luckly one Stoeger Luger 22lr pistol file remained. Unfortunately it held minimal information about the finish other than the aluminium Stoeger Luger 22lr pistol frames were finished in Italy. No paint type records remained. I asked a local paint expert. An electronic scan of the finish for color, gloss degree and content determined the paint Stoger used to finish ,relative to 1979, on the aluminum frames was two part Polyurathane. Color match and gloss level were easily replicated.
With those projects finished I plan on keep this amazing STOEGER LUGER 22LR PISTOL. If I decide to sell, the reposted GI ad will read, "EXCEPTIONAL, LIKE NEW CONDITION, RARE, NEW FINISH, NEW 5 1/2" BARREL, UNFIRED, STOEGER LUGER 22LR PISTOL." The price'll be $1141.95. reflecting the cost of the 5 1/2" barrel and installation. All the new extras'll still be included. That's at an additional value of $100.00 you'd purchase anyway.
