Description:
SINGLE ACTION ARMY .32-20, 4 3/4" BARREL, #217XXX, MADE 1901. A really nice example that still shows some light/faint traces of case color on the mottled frame with excellent screws and markings. Barrel shows good aged blue mixing with an uncleaned gray/brown- better blue on the barrel top and in the protected areas around the ejector housing, correct two line barrel address, good blue on the ejector side flutes, cylinder shows good blue that is a bit aged and better in the flutes, grip straps mostly plum with good blue on the butt and in the protected portions of the trigger guard, matching numbers, fine grips show normal light wear, four clicks to the hammer that are a little weak, but there. Action is tight and the bore is fine with normal light scattered surface corrosion and strong rifling. Correct hammer and unaltered front sight. This one has a good uncleaned look and feel to it.
