Breech loading percussion single shot rifle features full heavy octagon barrel, unique rear sporting sight, breech block stamped with Perry Patent Arm Co, Newark NJ. The breech block. frame, trigger guard and buttplate are engraved. Iron hardware with a pewter fore cap. CONDITION. Metal has a dark patina with light pitting. Butt stock is good with original finish and impressions. Forestock has a hairline crack and a sliver missing in front of frame. Action works properly. Bore is dark with decent rifling.
