This SKB Century III is a specialized Trap shotgun for singles and handicapped events. From the XLT pad to the muzzle, the Century III is constructed from performance based components and design features that will enable the shooter to develop their skills to compete at the next level of competition.
The Century III steel receiver; is a low profile box lock action with a bright coin finish. The trigger geometry is designed to lift the sear tail vertically, which releases the hammer with less trigger travel and pull weight, providing the shooter with a crisp, responsive feel. The coil spring system are designed to provide years of reliable power. The Century III is equipped with a manual safety.
The fit and feel of a tournament stock is a key element in the Century III competition shotguns. The personalized fit of an adjusted stock enables the shooter to acquire the target faster, enhances swing control, improves overall handling and reduces fatigue.
The Century III barrel features 2 3/4" chamber, lengthened forcing cone, fitted with the competition series choke tube system and equipped with a shell extractor. The finished barrel has a highly polished chrome interior, jeweled monobloc and matte black chrome exterior. The sighting plane is a 10mm top ventilated rib with a matte surface and target sights. Offered with 30", 32", or 34" barrel with full length stocks. Reduced length stock available on 30" and 32" models.
