SELDOM SEEN, UNUSUAL STEVENS MODEL 10 SINGLE SHOT .22 LR CALIBER TARGET PISTOL, #5XXX, ONLY MADE IN LIMITED NUMBERS FROM 1919-1933. These unusual pistols were made to look like semi-autos, but are actually single shot pistols activated by pulling back on the lever on the left side of the frame. This unlocks the barrel which tilts down for loading. Pulling it up locks everything tightly and then the bolt knob at the rear is pulled back to cock and fire the pistol. Simple and rugged design! Adjustable rear sight with ivory bead/blade front sight. Checkered hard rubber grips. Aside from the most minor or edge wear at the bottom of the grip straps (hardly worth mentioning), this one is about like new inside and out. One of the most unusual .22 LR American target pistols. This one is outstanding.
