Up for sale is my 1941 Johnson Automatics rifle in .30-06 caliber.
This rifle has been a part of my collection for many years and is in excellent condition overall as shown.
As per Bruce Canfields "Johnson rifles and machineguns", this rifle has not been refinished as the vast majority of these rifles have been.
The receiver, barrel, and rotary mag are correctly parkerized, and the rotary mag has never been reblued.
Correctly unmatching numbers, as these rifles were not built to be matching.
The barrel bushing is correctly marked .30-06 and "41" on the front, as well as "JA .30-06" on the top under the heat shield.
The bolt is correctly in the white, and the bolt catch works great.
The bore is in excellent condition 9.5/10
The wood to metal fit is excellent, and the wood has not been refinished. The wood itself has taken on a dark hue over the years.
There are a few small chips out of the wood from use as to be expected, and no cracks in the wrist.
Included with this rifle is a period correct sling with steel fasteners, as well as an original Johnson bayonet in original sheath with brass fastener.
Overall an excellent condition 1941 Johnson rifle and has been a great addition over the years to my collection.
