"NSN. Made circa 1790s. 65 caliber with a 7 ½" barrel. The barrel of this gun has been cleaned and has a light gray patina with pin point pitting. The lock is marked T. Richards. The stock appears to be walnut. The trigger guard, pierced side plate and butt are silver. The trigger guard had silver hall marks. The butt has a grotesque mask. This gun has an escutcheon with vignette of a native boy.
