Description:
"Serial number 92221. Made circa 1916-1918.These guns were serialized in their own range. = 9mm caliber with a 5 ½" barrel. This gun is in excellent condition with 95%+ of the original blue. The grips are very good with some of the red paint having flaked from the left hand side grip. This is a Prussian contract for WWI with the Prussian eagle stamped on the front of the magazine well. These guns were made in 9mm from 1916-1918 when WWI ended. These were exactly the same as the 7.63 guns except for the caliber difference in the barrel and the rear sight. A “9" was branded into each side of the grips and painted red to avoid the wrong caliber being loaded. Very fine example!
