Description:
This is a full box, 20 rounds, of .38-56 WCF ammunition manufactured by Winchester with 255 grain soft point bullets. The two piece orange and black label box has call outs for the Model 1886 rifle as well as Single Shot rifles with a side label date code of "5-14". The WWI era box is now solid with an old repair to the right side with a non-matching piece of cardboard that was taped and a corresponding repair to the top. The labels remain intact with very good graphics. The cartridges appear in near excellent condition with some age darkening and soiling with 19 appearing native to the box. A Good looking "86" box in a now scarce caliber.
