Description:
Serial #9826, .177 cal., 13 3/4" barrel with a fine bore. This is a military style, full-stock rifle, very similar in appearance to the Vz.24, that retains 90-92% of the original blue finish with silvering at the muzzle and some plum-brown fading along the tubular receiver. The spring cocking lever and safety are both bright gray overall with spots of mild freckling on the exposed surfaces. The walnut stock and handguard are in fine shape with only some minor handling marks and blemishes marring the original varnish. The rifle is fully functional and does come with a single original 6 shot "HAENEL" marked magazine. These pre-war guns were often used as trainers by German youth organizations and this example is in fine condition.
