Large .54 Cal, Percussion European Belt pistol with snap bayonet. Damascened octagon barrel with English pattern checkered walnut grip with decorative wire inlay. Evidence of having been converted from earlier Flint to percussion ignition. Condition Very good with attractive damacus barrel scene and petite floral engraved panels. Hammer retaining safety fails to hold hammer and stock is very good , full sized and without distress. Bayonet is retained by spring loaded trigger guard assembly. Action operates properly.
