Looks like this gun has had very limited use and little handling in the last four decades...this gun still feels NEW!
26 3/4" Barrels stemped CYLINDER and IMPROVED MODIFIED
Under close inspection the barrels apprear polished not chrome lined with the last ~0.25" of the Left barrel having been honed and left rougher than the original polished finish
A quick measurement indicates the Left barrel is opened to MODIFIED choke making this a versatile gun well suited for upland pursuits
Barrels stamped 18.4 mm bore - Right barrel measures 18.4 (CYL) and the Left barrel measures 17.9 (MOD)
Double Trigger (front articulated) and Ejectors add to it's Versatility
A few slight blemishes in the bluing on the barrels and trigger guard are of little concern when studying the overall finish and VIVID Case Color!
The luxury wood with original finish really catches the eye overshadowing a few minor press marks on the underside of the buttstock and edge of forend
Areas of dried grease indicate this fine shotgun spent more time in safe storage than afield
Hard to find one this nice!
