Description:
"Serial No. 372999, made in 1918, .45ACP, 5" round barrel. Bore is bright with frosting visible in the grooves, rifling remains strong. 55% blue remains on slide and frame with the rest thinning to a brown/grey patina with scattered oxidation visible. Slide is a Springfield Armory Model of 1911 U.S. Army that was manufactured circa 1914-1917. Frame was manufactured by Colt in 1918, it looks like the slide and frame have been together for some time as the patina matches. “Coltwood" plastic are in excellent condition, two tone magazine is unmarked. Some smaller parts have been replaced. Action is tight and functions correctly.
