Most of my firearms for sale are acquired from family and friends looking to reduce their collections. Some firearms are acquired through word of mouth estate sales. I evaluate the condition based on a disassembly and cleaning, looking for obvious flaws and wear on crucial parts. I will occasionally dry fire a weapon with snap caps to check the action, trigger pull, and reset. No live firing, unless it is one of my own. I price my listings as appropriate for its condition. I always like talking to fellow enthusiasts about firearms, shooting, and hunting. Let me know if you have any questions about any of my listings. Description: An iconic Belgium Browning Hi Power SA 9mm semi-auto. Modeled on the John Browning original design for a European military service weapon it was first manufactured in 1935 and eventually sold to 50 countries militaries around the world. Standard Hi-Powers are based on a single-action design, so the trigger is not connected to the hammer. The Hi-Power is typically carried with the hammer cocked, a round in the chamber, and the safety catch on (a carry mode often called cocked and locked in the United States or made ready in the United Kingdom. This well maintained one owner firearm was manufactured in 1964. It has stiff springs, a shiny bore, no negligible wear on the hammer or firing pin, 2 sets of grips,( the original wood grips fit a large hand and the laminate grips fit a medium hand). It comes with 1 - 13rd magazine and a leather carry pouch. The original patina shows some wear and lightness of color on the front and back of the handgrip. See the pictures. Overall condition is "Good". Call me if you have any questiones about this Hi Power. Shipping and insurance is a flat $50 to an FFL dealer near you.
