Ithaca Flues, 12ga Field Grade. I’ve owned this gun since I was a young man. I have carried it in the field every hunting season for 50 years or more, so it does show some “kind” wear. I have restored this firearm over the years, to beyond its original 1916 form, and to my personal satisfaction. The wood has been refinished (no dents or scratches) and all of the checkering has been sharpened up. Note the original nice checkering on the stock cheek. The original butt pad is present, to my knowledge. The action works flawlessly, crisp and tight. Notice the beautiful case hardened colors. Both triggers are crisp. The 28”barrels have been reblued, and are dent-free, although they too, show minor field use. The bores are excellent and I believe them to be modified and full choke. Serial number is 269057 - F. I believe the “F” designates field grade, although this gun is an extraordinary example of its grade and age.
LOP to the front trigger is 14”, DOC is 2”. DOH is just under 3”. I have a "near twin" 20 gauge Flues of similar age and condition. The pair could be (should be) purchased as a pair for a negotiable price.
