Smoothbore Military Arm
Here we present an antique European Flintlock Smoothbore Musket, made circa the late-18th/early-19th Century. This musket features a massive 10 Bore barrel secured by two bands. The hammer is gracefully curved yet robust and notched for half cock safety catch. This example appears to be largely Scandinavian in origin, but the barrel has both London "crown/GP" and "crown/V" proof marks.
The overall condition is good. Gray patina throughout. The action is strong. The bore is smooth and dim. The stock shows use.
