Boss / Smith - SxS, Matched Pair, 20ga. 27 ½” Barrels Choked F/F.
Will open to suit. Straight grip, English drop points. Consecutive serial numbers, identical guns numbered 1 & 2. Matched pair of Boss guns bult by Terence A. Smith and marked Terence Smith / Boss. Assisted opening, London proofed in 1987, best chopper lumped barrel, Churchill ribs. Gold 1 and 2 at breach end. Manual safety, gold safe. 100% multicolored deep case coloring and 100% wood finish. Terence Smith was a highly talented gun maker for Boss and Co.; he built these guns for himself, essentially meaning these are handmade Boss guns by him. He was the head of Boss in the 1960s and worked with the designer of the Boss O/U and then went to Holland and Holland to master double rifle building. Terence Smith passed away in 2021, leaving behind these guns These are superb shotguns essentially built as Boss shotguns. True French walnut blanks. Double trigger, automatic ejector. Comes in a double case, these guns are brand new and have never been fired since being finished. English bouquet Rosen scroll. Perfect screws, wood and checkering. The very highest quality beautiful guns.
