About Us: I have collected interesting firearms for about 60 years, and am a Benefactor/Life NRA member. I feel that it is now time to start selling a few things. All firearms transactions will be handled by a local Gun shop and will follow all firearms laws. All firearms purchased will be shipped by them to your F.F.L. I do my best to price my items fairly. Description:
Nearly Mint Remington Model 600 Bolt Action Repeater in the desireable .350 Remington Magnum. This rifle has seen little use and appears almost mint. The original owner had two of these and hunted extensively with one and kept this one for a backup. This one was made in February of 1965 making it 59 years old. In the late 1980s the owner read an article by Colonel Jeff Cooper and thought that he would like to have a "Scout Rifle" and mounted a Leupold 2X Extended Eye Relief scope on it. This required him to remove the rear sight and I do not have it. The rifle has some small scratches in the finish of the stock but nothing major. The Nylon rib and trigger guard/floorplate are in excellent condition and are not warped as so many are. The laminated stock has the original Remington recoil pad. The Front sight is intact. The bore and riflings look perfect. The bolt, feed ramp, and magazine appear as new. The .350 Remington Magnum cartridge was designed to duplicate the ballistics of the .35 Whelen but in a short action. This would be a great Elk Rifle for hunting in the timber. It handles very well and gets you on target quickly. These are getting scarce, now is the time to get yours. This one is, according to my research, a first year production rifle for the 350 Mag. RETURN POLICY- All firearms come with a 3-day non firing, no-tinkering with (turning screws, taking apart, removing parts, scoping. firing, cleaning or altering in any way) inspection/return privilege. Inspection is based on a visual review of the firearm to confirm that it is in the condition stated. In the case of a return, the buyer pays all shipping charges. Please ask questions.
