Description:
The Savage Arms 10 FP offers shooters a practical, reliable, and versatile bolt-action rifle that's well suited for hunting or target shooting. The fore-end and pistol grip surfaces have checkering to provide a non-slip hold in any weather. The basic bolt design assures that the locking lugs fully contact the receiver, holding the headspace to a minimum every time the bolt is locked. The tight headspace contributes to the excellent accuracy Savage rifles are known for. The matte-finished, heavy weight, carbon steel barrel features precision button-rifling. A 3-position receiver tang safety is easy to reach with the shooter's thumb and allows the rifle to be loaded and unloaded in the safe position. .22-250 Remington
