Description:
This is a rare 1881 dated Ledger Sheet receipt from the Forehand & Wadsworth company in Worcester, Massachusetts. Suitable for framing the lined receipt has an excellent wood cut of the factory with horse and buggy in the foreground identifying William Allen & Sons as having been paid $.50 for one hour labor cutting taps. It measures 8.5" x 7" and is in excellent condition. A important piece of surviving Gun Company Ephemera with wonderful detail that will add to any post Civil War gun history collection.
