Description:
This is an antique Belgain proofed pocket or "Muff" pistol with a 3 inch round barrel, about .40 Caliber black powder percussion. It features very simple foliate engraving and is well marked with Belgian proofs. In near excellent condition the barrel and frame are mostly in the white with areas of carbon staining and some scattered freckles and tiny spots of corrosion. The grips rate excellent. The hammer holds at half and full cock and releases with a good trigger pull. A great looking, classic "Muff" pistol. Antique
