Model 12 deluxe pigeon grade upgrade, beautifully engraved by former Winchester factory engraver Pauline Muerrle, and expertly fitted with a custom wood set.
This is a 16 gauge shotgun with the scarcer 26" solid rib barrel which is stamped modified choke, but measures IC on my brass gauge.
S/N 1415136 made in 1952.
99% condition throughout with a mirror bore, along with smooth and proper mechanical functions.
The crisp and finely executed engraving is of the Winchester factory #4 pattern, with primary receiver side panel coverage depicting ducks on one side and bird dogs on the other, along with peripheral scroll accents.
The inner action components have been jeweled/engine turned.
The nicely figured wood has a piano type finish with expertly cut, multi point checkering panels.
The LOP is 14 1/4" to a Pachmayr White line recoil pad.
