Superb byf-42 German Mauser WWII 8MM Rifle
Just acquired from a prestigious collection of WWII German firearms is this superb Nazi marked German Mauser 8MM military rifle. This specimen, which is ALL MATCHING and ALL ORIGINAL has the condition that collectors eagerly seek. SN 25088f this specimen is stamped byf-43 on receiver. The rifle retains ALL of its finish on metal with bright heat treatment on extractor about 99% there. All parts are matching. The bore is MINTY. The unfinished buttplate is stamped “brg” which is proper for the Mauser. It has a bit of tarnish but we have not cleaned or buffed. The wood on the rifle likewise appears unused with a bold Nazi inspectors mark in butt “WaA135”. The metal also has the same inspectors waffenampt. To top off this superb rifle is its original sling also marked with contractors letters. It would be hard pressed to find a specimen as nice as this and this should be a worthy addition in any advance collection of German WWII firearms. L29 YZXZ
