Description:
Serial #A126153, .410-12mm, 2 1/2" chamber, 26 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore choked cylinder. This is the H&R Model 1915 shotgun marked "410-12mm" placing this in production from 1922-1936. The lightweight little break-open retains about 55-60% of the original blue finish on the barrel with the frame showing 80-85% of the original case-hardened color. The stock and forearm are solid with a slight stable crack just behind the tang showing numerous old marks and contusions with a chip in the toe of the original H&R hard rubber butt plate. The action locks up tight with barrel on face having just a slight movement in the stock to action fit. A great little truck or camp shotgun that still looks very nice.
