This is a 1955-dated, "26" marked carbine that has traces of original blue remaining on a few of the protected areas, and the balance of the metal having a mottled pewter gray patina with thin freckling present throughout. The bolt is original and has a matching serial number, however the magazine floorplate is numbered to a different gun. The carbine is import marked near the muzzle and on the trigger guard bow, while the front sight hood is slightly misshapen on the right side. The stock has numerous small handling marks and surface bruises scattered throughout the added varnish finish, and the original folding spike bayonet is still present. This is a desirable license-built Chinese copy of the Soviet Model 1944 Carbine, and is in very good condition overall. FFL or C&R SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
