As new in the box! This Commemorative Colt 1911 has not had its slide racked, a magazine inserted or been fired since leaving the factory. This is one of 1150 Colt 1911’s built for the 1911 centenary year. It was picked as the “gun of the Year’ by the NRA who commissioned this impressive piece. Each Pistol has a standard grip safety, spur hammer and rosewood grip panels with an NRA medallion. The gun has gold plated screws, barrel bushing and oval escutcheons on both sides of the polished blue slide. The engraved scenes on the slide depict the conflicts that the famous 1911 has been carried through. This example is serial numbered 1911NRA0858 and is presented in its original custom box and is in perfect condition. An awesome addition to any collection. Thanks for looking.
