Description:
Built to commemorate the Wells, Fargo, and Co., 125th Anniversary, Winchester chose best wood, and workmanship for these rifles. They feature highly figured stocks, and blue metal parts. The receiver is lightly blued to simulate usage by the coach guard. We tend to think of the Wells Co as a banker and an investment , but in the days of the old west, the company was a shipper of high value goods as well as money. They can be thought of as a cross between the Federal Express and Brinks armored cars. Their deliveries were the lifeblood of commerce all over the West. This made them an attractive target for all kinds of badness, and they were armed to defend their cargo. .30-30 Winchester
