A stone cold gorgeous factory original Marlin Model 1893 that is factory #5 engraved.
Gun built with 26" tapered Octagonal to round barrel. Blued barrel and magazine tube. 1/2 half magazine, Built as a takedown. Rear tang sight, the barrel has seat where the rear sight is, front sight with white bead. Case colored nosecap, frame lever, hammer. Finely figured walnut checkered pistol grip stock and forearm. Buttstock with its original Marlin buttplate. The frame is finely engraved with a bull elk and cow in oval panel on left side, the rest is finished in fine scroll. Right side of the frame is fully scroll engraved. The take down lug is also engraved as is the barrel which is fine scroll engraved.
Overall the gun remains in a superior state of original condition. The barrel and magazine retain nearly all of their beautiful original bright blue. The case colored peripheral parts retain nearly all of the bright and vivid original case colors. The frame is spectacular retaining nearly all of the bright and vivid colors with the lacquer coating, with some beginning toning at carry point. The bore is bright and shiny This is a extremely fine factory engraved Marlin rifle.
