"Serial No. 6290560, made circa August -November 1944, .30 carbine, 18" round barrel marked “INLAND MFG. DIV./ GENERAL MOTORS/ 10-44". Bore is excellent with strong rifling noted. Barrel band is marked “KI", front sight is unmarked. Carbine retains round bolt, Type III stamped adjustable rear sight is marked “I.R.C O./7160060". Magazine release is marked “M", push button safety Is marked “"EW"". Low wood stock has been varnished at some point with a “O" stamped inside the sling well. Action is smooth and functions correctly, carbine comes with oiler and sling. Consignment
