Description:
Winchester 20g Model 23 “Grande Canadian” Side By Side Shotgun.
Winchester made 450 Grande Canadian Model 23's in 20g.
Based on a boxlock action with a single selective trigger and an automatic safety. Each receiver has a silver finish and is engraved with an oak leaf motif on all sides of the receiver with a single leaf inlayed in gold on the bottom.
The “Grande Canadian” series has 25 1/2” Monoblock barrels with a ventilated rib, single white bead, 3” chambers, Fixed chokes: IC & MOD, with engraved wedges over the breeches, and the words “Grande Canadian” on top of the rib.
The gun is nicely stocked with Claro Walnut, straight hand grip, beavertail forend, fleur de lis checkering, and a 14 ¼” LOP over a thin factory pad.
The condition of the metal is very nice, the bores on both guns are perfect. The gun has very few handling marks on the stock, and no cracks or signs of repair. Overall, the gun remains at about 97% to 98% condition.
The gun is complete in its factory case and weighs 7lbs even.
