Description:
Colt 1873 Single Action Army in .44 Rimfire. This Colt SAA was manufactured in 1874, and the serial number is 237. It is in very good condition. It retains significant blue finish on the barrel, hammer, trigger, and back strap. The walnut grips are in excellent condition. The top of the barrel is marked "Colt's PT. F. A. MFG. Co. Hartford CT. U.S.A". The patent stamp on the frame reads "PAT. Sept. 19, 1871, July 2, 72". It has a great bore with good rifling. This revolver is included in the Colt Peacemaker Encyclopedia/Vol 2. It has a Colt Factory letter. No box. .44 Rimfire
