Description:
- This is a redone ( by a previous owner ) very fast handling 16 ga bird gun Very nice custon English straigt pull stock of beautifully figured feathercrotch wood and beavertail front. 26 in barrells that could use rebluing. Pretty sure barrels were shortened but I'm no expert.Stock is 14.25 long + .5 hard spacer and .75 kick-eez pad, 15.5 total. Easy enough to shorten if necessary. Bores are bright and locks up tight with lever well right.
- Vey light weight, Fox 16s are built on the 20 ga frame. This gun balances right at the barrel break. Fast handling, this gun comes up quick and swings left and right with ease. I am an avid Grouse hunter which is why I bought it many years ago, but now I and my dog are getting older and not going out as much so I'd like to pass it on. Not sure how its choked. I think it was m and IM. Make offer
