Description:
Browning Citori Hunter Gr 1, 12 gauge O/U shotgun. First introduced in 1973 the Citori is a Japanese made Browning that followed, as a price conscious substitute for the famous Belgium made Browning superposed.
This gun was made in 1976, 48 years ago, and aside from a few noticeable handling marks in the wood, it is in remarkably fine condition. 26" vent rib barrels, choked IC & Mod and has 2 3/4 & 3" chambers. The Hunter differed from the Lightning by the flat knob pistol grip stock; the wider forearm and recoil pad.
The metal is at least 97% and the mechanics are perfect. Even the top lever remains far right of center!
The wood does show that gun was carried in the field. No damage, no cracks, no significant dents or gouges; just signs of normal handlng. The stock has a 14" Length of Pull over the factory recoil pad. 1 9/16" drop at comb with 2 1/2" drop at heel with slight right hand cast.
