"Serial No. 1001922, circa 1943, .45ACP, 5" round barrel. Bore is bright with light surface frosting visible, rifling remains strong. Refinish blue has turned to a light grey patina with scattered areas of smooth oxidation noted. Slide is marked “REMINGTON RAND INC./SYRACUSE. N.Y. U.S.A." Left side of frame has “F.J.A./P" while the right is marked “UNITED STATES PROPERTY/ No. 1001922-M19911 A1 U.S. ARMY/SA". Checkered grips remain sharp with minimal wear noted. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Pistol comes with a WWII M7/M9 Black leather holster in overall very good condition with embossed “US".
