Description:
"Serial No. 89128, shipped out January 15th 1863 to New York Arsenal, .44 caliber, 8" round barrel. Bore is bright with strong rifling visible. Finish has thinned to a smooth grey patina with traces of original blue noted in protected areas, mostly under the barrel. Serial numbers are matching, with “CC" inspector marks stamped just above the wedge screw. Grips are good with faint cartouche visible. Action indexes correctly with a tight lock up, revolver comes with period correct case with the initials “W.W.JELF". Inside the case is a Colt pattern powder flask, J. Goldmark’s percussion caps, brass oil bottle and Colt bullet mold. Comes with factory letter.
