Winchester Model 1886 Light Weight Take Down 45-70 Rifle with shotgun butt, 1/2 magazine. Rapid taper light weight Bbl and blue finish. Ramped blade front sight with adjustable sporting rear sight. Varnished 2 piece American walnut stocks with checkered hard rubber butt plate with Winchester Monogram. Mfd, 1915. Condition, Very fine with brilliant bore and solid lock up. Stocks are excellent and metal retains over 70% blue finish with balance patina. Bore is excellent , bright and sharp. Later added sling swivel studs. Mechanically excellent.
