Documented Antique Winchester Model 1886 "BIG FIFTY" cal, 50-100-450 with 26" round Bbl with 2 line Winchester Bbl, address and marked 50-100-450 over chamber. Blade front sight and rear sight seat filled with blank. Case colored receiver with double set trigger. Model 21 Lyman receiver sight "Climbin Lyman" .Varnished American walnut stocks with crescent butt plate. Mfd, 1895. Factory letter confirms configuration and rarity , further research indicates that only 15 1886 rifles in 50 Cal had double set triggers, , 100 had round Bbl and only 330 50 cal rifles were produced. "Madis" Condition, Very fine with excellent strong bore with some roughness. 40% case color with straong shadows. Barrel and magazine retain 60% thinning blue. Double set triggers operate properly. Stocks are very good. Mechanically excellent Factory letter confirms configuration and included is a detailed article by noted experts Russ Day and Rob Kassab.
